@MonaApp Now enabled? Hadn’t it been enabled for months?
@MonaApp Got it, understood. I’d still love to see that action here instead of in the (…) button menu, or at least be able to map it to a keyboard shortcut.
@MonaApp Is there a reason “Load from Remote Server” isn’t just the default when viewing a post, considering that’s what shows the accurate favorite/boost counts? Would there ever be a reason *not* to show the post on the remote server?
You don’t need Twitter Blue to keep your account secure!
1. Remove SMS Two Factor
2. Remove Google’s Authenticator app (iPhone and Android)
3. Delete your Twitter account
This is more secure than SMS two factor, and still free. twitter.com/jamesrbuk/status/1
@anildash @ryanlcooper “One professor tweeted that ‘airborne AIDS’ might ‘just be what makes humanity go extinct’” while others have echoed various levels of fear that a muted government response to COVID is going to sicken and kill everyone in an avalanche of illness. This label has existed since early 2020, but more and more people now seem to be adopting it.” www.salon.com/2022/12/02/no-is

@Migueldeicaza You follow too many people! Following someone on here isn’t meant to be a signal of “approval” of them, or something you do to acknowledge somebody or anything like that. It’s an indication that you want to see everything a user posts, because they’ve earned it. They have a filter, and by posting something, they are 100% sure their followers want to see it. Being selective with follows is a hugely important tool we now have here to incentivize high quality posting.
