@chrisjrn Unfortunately my landlord does not accept that as a reason that I should have the place rent-free until 2025.

It is somehow already time to renew my workshop's 3 year lease. How time flies!

@mralex Thought of you when I heard the news. Industry is in a bad place :(

@mralex While I can't compare the low-glare screen to the base model, I do think it helps.

Delighted a local transportation planner on the ski lift yesterday when I said that I liked the resort charging $10 for parking if you were in a car by yourself (there's a free bus to it with free parking down in Boulder)

We then had a lovely chat about the London congestion charge and if double-decker buses were electric yet.

@rimu I have already turned its run interval and numbers down significantly for this reason. Ideally we'd have servers forward replies through for boosted posts and stop all this!

@rimu I am thinking about how we can do it without overwhelming other servers.

Well, trying to get a liquor license for an event in Colorado (to give it away for free!) appears to be far more difficult than getting a license to close 10km of roads for 4 hours. Fun.

After @matt mentioned it, I set this up on my own personal instance and wow, being able to see more replies to things is so nice: github.com/nanos/mastodon_get_

This really needs to get added to the protocol somehow.

@davesnider Oh, the timeline view is a really lovely idea (and nice execution, too!)

@mralex It's unfortunately hard enough to find other sensible domain names.

@ehmatthes One of the accessory ones - the One LT I think it is.

Also remembered to bring my IR camera this time - after some insulation improvements recently, looks like I'm now mostly losing heat around the door edges.

Colorado's state parks continue to not disappoint. Popped down to Mueller for the weekend with the van!

While I appreciate the CEO emailing us about it, learning that the now-failed SVB was our primary bank is not the best news, to say the least.

I never thought "which bank do me and my friends' companies use" would suddenly be so relevant.

Always enjoy reading the local paper. Important news this month is that a pizzeria has changed owners, a local school is putting on a performance of Newsies, and a local film professor has reviewed the Oscar nominees.

@Chrisgodwin Allowing time acceleration with engines on makes such a big difference, too! I can finally use the low-thrust, high-ISP engines without being very bored.

@freakboy3742 @tveastman Oh yes, that one totally slipped my mind. It's very good!

@tveastman Hmm, hard to pin things exactly in the same vein that I like, I have such a weird musical taste!

Tetris Effect's OST, some of Two Steps From Hell's public albums, the Outer Wilds OST, and the good old TRON: Legacy OST are probably the ones that spring to mind first?

Managed to get to Dres in KSP2 Early Access on my first try, though I did shove an awful lot of delta-V in the rocket just in case. Ran well, and the only bug I saw was with the maneuver planner being a little weird.

Also the soundtrack and audio design in this game is top-notch. Looking forward to them working on it more!

Today's coding soundtrack is the Stellaris OST and I had forgotten just how good this is.

@osma @osma@mas.to @takahe Yeah that is not working yet - there's a work we need to do to make TakahΔ“ accept the move request.

@josh Ugh, sorry to hear that, it sucks :(

I really wish this "pointless layoff fever" among companies would end...

@AlSweigart You have no idea how much I hate dimensional lumber sizes!

On the plus side, they're usually just manufactured in millimetres these days, so as long as you know those numbers you're good.
