@bitprophet This. I discovered last year that our humidistat did not work because both the power and the water supply were cut. It was ~$400 to have new ductwork and a new humidistat installed and worth every penny for these <20F nights.

We got by last winter from me buying ~4 cheap vicks humidifiers (<$20) and refilling them once a day. Not ideal, but it evened out our two-story house well enough in a pitch because everything else was sold out.
