Silly of me, but I just clicked on the 'news' page of Australia's national broadcaster. Apparently there's no news today but there is a feelpinion surplus and it's been blended with a stack of twaddle no sentient being could possibly give a fuck about.
I'm showing my age, but I'd like to see two separate pages established: ABC News, and ABC Bollocks.
The Toyota was at fault and crossed to the wrong side of the road before crashing into the Cybertruck.
This is where my prior discussion of safety as applying to the car you are in but not other cars comes into play. You’re technically pretty safe if you’re driving a tank on the highway but anyone who rams into you is screwed.
Too bad there isn’t a safety rating for that.

notestock.osa-p.net seems like an interesting service. You can register multiple accounts with it and then it will collect up the messages you have sent so you can search them. It defaults to private so only you can see your messages.
I’m still playing with it and this is a test from a takahe instance rather than mastodon or misskey to check that it copes.
My fellow millennials,
I regret to inform you that today I had to explain the concept of a "TV channel" to a child.
The most relatable description seemed to be to say it was sort of like a livestream...
By the time I got to describing the magazine where they printed the times for the TV shows I'm pretty sure they thought I was making it up.
Looks like @trunksapp app can’t authenticate to takahe as it just seems to hang after collecting the required info. Gets a bit further than @IceCubesApp which can’t even find takahe.social :-(
