@neilk Oh crap, that's almost certainly true.
KTV is testing Takahē
@ktv@takahe.social
Techie, software developer, hobbyist photographer, sci-fi/fantasy and comics fan in the Los Angeles area. He/him.
Checking to see what mentioning a bookwyrm user @KelsonReads from Takahe does without following
And my Akkoma account doesn't see this post either.
Hmm, Takahe and Akkoma think they're following each other, but I don't see any of my Akkoma posts here.
@experiments And it's messed up differently on Takahe...
It looks like Takahe can follow Pixelfed, but replies/mentions don't make it back.
@KelsonV I wonder if a public reply from Takahe to Pixelfed will show up as a comment or not.
@KelsonV Looks like Takahē is able to follow Pixelfed now!
@experiments @KelsonV Hmm, Takahe does the same as Mastodon - convert the lists to line breaks, remove all other formatting except links...but it also adds the link to the plaintext URL.
@kelsonv @KelsonV@wandering.shop @kelsonv@gts.keysmash.xyz Takahe also displays line breaks after each item.
@kelsonv Takahe also shows the plain list with line breaks.
@kelson Can you see the fnords? Are they equatorial?
@brion At least we had a pretty good library to choose from!
@kelson Sometimes getting different Fediverse platforms to send messages successfully feels like using ActivityPub-over-Avian-Carrier Protocol.
@brion 😬.sh
Finally got around to trying out the Takahe site on my phone, and it works really well!
